So as I was looking up this product, I spotted that pretty much the easiest way for me to lớn buy this is through online pharmacies và Lookfantastic. On that trang web it retails for €11.45 which is a good price point for a moisturizer. It is nicely affordable & that’s another reason why I wanted to try it. For me and my dry, dehydrated skin, I struggle finding good moisturizers that don’t break the bank. I often find them not nourishing enough và one of my favorite night time moisturizers, the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm, has since been discontinued. What does this moisturizer have lớn offer?
Cerave is a brand known to be promoted by many dermatologists as a great brand for sensitive skin. I picked this out as it promoses to be a great moisturizer that repairs the skin barrier và it contains ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Those three ingredients are key for me, especially the niacinamide, as those I feel all help with the texture in my skin.
What does this moisturizer do?
Sadly, this moisturizer isn’t great for me. It specifies it is created for dry skin, but for me, this just isn’t hydrating enough. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with many skincare products aimed at sensitive skin and it’s why I have veered away mostly from products that are formulated with sensitive skin in mind, even though my skin is mainly sensitive.

It just doesn’t vị enough, meaning I have lớn lather it on, making me go through it so quickly even though this moisturizer comes with much more sản phẩm (80 mls) than most other moisturizers. This is such a lightweight product that my skin has absorbed it before my head hits my pillow.What are the ingredients like?
So the ingredients are clearly listed on the packaging. There are some great ingredients here that are also high up on the list, but to be quite fair, it’s mainly water & glycerin so the ingredients aren’t all that special it seems. & I think this may be part of the reason why I don’t love this. Yes it’s super lightweight but if you feel you need to lớn use so much product just khổng lồ get the effect you need, I’d rather use less of a more effective product. But that’s just me.
My final thoughts
I had high hopes when trying the Cerave moisturizer. After so many glowing review I was really curious and I think this kind of simple formula is great if you are super sensitive khổng lồ anything và you just want a basic hàng hóa that gets the job done. For me, I just need a bit more. I lượt thích richer, almost butter like moisturizers for the night time that need some time to lớn sink in. With this, I feel my skin isn’t nourished enough & when that happens, my texture shows up quite visible. And that’s what I don’t like about this.
