I don’t think NYX Butter Lipstick is comparable lớn colored lip balms we’ve seen in the past like Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. It’s truly a quality formula all its own in my experience with it & not lượt thích any other colored balms I’ve tried recently.

I was very impressed with the pigment on all five of the twenty two shades that NYX Cosmetics offers in this formula. Every single shade applied opaque without being sheer or light in color. For a lip balm style formula these wore on for a solid four hours and faded a bit into hour five. The glide on lips beautifully without tugging or skipping. I felt like I was applying my favorite lip balm but with a better formula. Truly “butter” is an excellent way to put it as they have a buttery feel on lips with a moist finish. They are hydrating but not incredibly so…! Through the wear my lips never felt tight or dried out so they did supply fairly decent moisture. They have no taste or fragrance.

On the down side I felt the shades applied slightly unevenly….they seemed to over out on my upper and lower lip line so a little transparent lip liner or even colored lip liner might be a good idea to keep them “inside the lines” so khổng lồ speak. They don’t migrate of feather on me through the wear, however, I find I am doing a little clean up duty after application as they seem to want lớn apply all on my lips & outside of them.
I’m not a tín đồ of NYX Butter Gloss because I felt the shades weren’t entirely wearable but NYX did a great job with the Butter Lipstick shades are there is a wide variety of colors from nudes to lớn vibrant reds to corals. There’s a perfect shade for everyone here.

Overall, NYX Butter Lipstick are excellent unique at a small price tag. I’d suggest trying out a few shades yourself as you’re bound lớn love on these.

Yay! I’ve been waiting for your nhận xét on Butter Lipsticks because there have been lots of positive và negative reviews, especially for the lighter colors. I’ve been eyeing on Fizzies, which they say apply sheerer, and I don’t mind it because sometimes the opaque shades tend lớn be intimidating. Oh, I want to lớn try Candy Buttons too, if ever it will be my first peach-colored lipstick. Since you’ve given this a “Mused Approved” rating, I’ll certainly be ordering this online. =D
